“This silent rebel is always the first one to put her hand up at anything. She loves a challenge and getting out of her comfort zone. Although she is very strong willed, like all of us she is a softy at heart”.

The “Lady Slider” series is inspired by the natural grace of women surfers and the beauty and fragility of the ocean. Messages of the oceans vulnerability and sustainable living are relayed throughout the painting via articles that are cut out from old surf magazines. The original paintings are created from a combination of acrylic paint, spray-paint, old surf magazines, paint pens, ink and resin.

Lola……..
"Is an old soul and loves a good one-piece bathing suit. When she is not surfing you will find her knitting, weaving or doing any other craft she can get her hands on. She loves the idea of ageing naturally and is always looking forward to what the future has in hold for her".(CreativeWork) Surf Ocean Art "Sadie" Ed. 11 of 200 by Amanda Davidson.
