Turtley Serene

Scuba diving in Australian oceans has many variations of beautiful green sea turtles and colourful fish. This turtle was swimming slowly all alone in the shallow azure waters of Western Australia. Photo captured by a friend which inspired me to paint the peaceful scene.

I am an Australian artist inspired by the essence of life's blessings all around us. I am fascinated by the light and reflection in nature, water and of the eyes of people and animals. I have been a portrait artist for over 40 years, recently having expanded into exploring colour play of the environment around us and learning abstract art.
