Artwork Description

When visiting Uluru the sunrise and sunsets show how the colours change rapidly from deep purple shadows to red/orange as the burnt sienna of the land is reflected in the scenery with barely any trees in the dry hot sun.

Artist Bio

I am an Australian artist inspired by the essence of life's blessings all around us. I am fascinated by the light and reflection in nature, water and of the eyes of people and animals. I have been a portrait artist for over 40 years, recently having expanded into exploring colour play of the environment around us and learning abstract art. Using mainly acrylics I am enjoying working more withbinks, watercolours and mixed media. I paint under the name of Amaleigh
