Art has always been my safe place. I have always had an affinity with colour and light and enjoy playing with different methods and styles. I find creating art cathartic and freeing. I am greatly inspired by the colours and forms in the people, landscape and seascapes around me.
I work in Acrylic and have incorporated some mixed media in pieces as the pieces themselves tell me how they want to evolve. I also enjoy Acrylic Ink ,working with quills to enact expressive line work, drawing and water colour depending on the nature of the subject matter. I have always loved art and studied Art and Design briefly straight out of High School in Shepparton Victoria .
I was a member of the Shepparton Arts Society for a time, exhibiting in small group exhibitions, and worked in the family business Glassons Art World in Shepparton during the early 2000's before studying and becoming an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. My Husband and I are now empty nester's and so I have found myself with more time to explore my love of art once again since our move to Torquay on Victoria's South Coast.
