My fiancée and I did a day trip from Sarina. He was keen to show me around the place he called home for many years. In just a day I fell in love with the chill, friendly, unofficial capital of North Queensland. With a bustling stretch of coast- full of restaurants and bars, overlooking the Coral Sea, it’s impossible not to get pulled in to the holiday vibe. This painting depicts the palm trees scattered along the coast as you look towards Magnetic Island.
