Artwork Description

The abstract painting is a captivating exploration of vibrant hues and dynamic contrasts, drawing the viewer into its mesmerizing world. At its core, a base of soft pink, dark pink, purple, and magenta sets the stage for a kaleidoscope of color to unfold.

Across the canvas, bursts of blue and white intersperse with the dominant shades, creating a sense of movement and depth. These cool tones ripple through the composition, like gentle waves breaking against a colorful shoreline, adding a touch of serenity to the lively palette.

Amidst the sea of pinks and purples, spots of yellow emerge, their golden brilliance catching the eye and infusing the painting with warmth and radiance. These sunny accents serve as focal points, drawing the viewer's gaze and adding a dynamic contrast to the surrounding hues.

In the midst of this vibrant tapestry, hints of green peek through, adding a refreshing touch of nature to the composition. Like tiny sprouts pushing through the earth, these verdant accents bring a sense of vitality and growth to the artwork, juxtaposing beautifully with the rich, bold colors that surround them.

As the viewer takes in the painting as a whole, they are enveloped in a sensory experience. Each brushstroke tells a story, each color a chapter in a larger narrative of emotion and expression. In this abstract masterpiece, the artist invites viewers to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of color and texture, inviting them to explore the depths of imagination and interpretation.

Artist Bio

I am a selftought artist. Born in Italy and living in the most beautiful country: Australia.
Accountant by day, artist and sport addict the rest of the time. Veganism advocate, animals and ocean lover. In love with Australia beaches, sunsets and sunrises. Australia has been my dreamland since 2011 and recently I realised that unconsciously I reflect my love for Australia in some of my painting. All the vivid and joyful colours remind me of the ocean, the sun, and the landscape in Australia paradise.
Before painting I was colouring Johanna Basford books and my friends were always amazed by how I could combine and choose colours. How I could focus on some details and have the passion to color even the smallest one. The secret is that I don’t choose the colours, the colours chose me and guide me into creating something. When I start a new painting I stare at all my colours and without any thoughts I let the energy of the colours flow and guide me into the next creation.
When I moved to Australia I decided to try creating some art; I started with thick paper first, then moved to small canvas and now I work with every size of canvas. I went from acrylic only, to impasto technique and gesso. When I finish a work I look at it and I like to think that I created something unique, that there is no single piece in the whole world like mine and that one day someone will have exactly that painting decorating his/her wall. And most of the time I think I create cool stuff 🙂 and is extremely rewarding to know that someone feels something by looking at my paintings.
When I feel that something is not how I would like it to be I edit it until I am fully satisfied with the result.
In a perfect world I would like to keep working as an accountant and opening a little gallery where I can expose and sell all my paintings.
