Artwork Description

This artwork is a vivid explosion of vibrant colour which will enliven any room. The swirling currents of resin splash across the board to beguile the viewer. The use of solvents and clash of pigments with different viscosity have created movement and energy. This piece was inspired by watching a thunderstorm from my balcony.

Artist Bio

My creative journey has always been motivated by three principles: the organic shapes and harmonious colours within nature, the application of science and the pursuit of beauty.
Although my fluid pour and resin paintings have a somewhat otherworldly and abstract appearance, there is certainly a technical and scientific aspect to applying the paint to achieve different effects on both canvas and wooden substrates.
In addition I use a wide range of pigments, spray enamel, mica powder and liquid oils to create both subtle and vibrant colour palettes, enough to enhance any room.
I want each of my paintings offer a intriguing and beautiful reflection of our environment.
