My creative journey has always been motivated by three principles: the organic shapes and harmonious colours within nature, the application of science and the pursuit of beauty.
Although my fluid pour paintings have a somewhat otherworldly and abstract appearance, there is certainly a technical and scientific aspect to applying the paint to achieve different effects on canvas.
In addition I use a wide range of pigments and mica powders to create both subtle and vibrant colour palettes, enough to enhance any room. This playful piece developed after a time away from painting.
I want each of my paintings offer an intriguing and beautiful reflection of our environment.
