Artwork Description

These pansies are my first painting in my new collection of works. Exploring a more realistic style, I am pushing my limits and loving every moment.

Pansies represent so many things - love, thought and remembrance. With blue pansies meaning loyalty, honesty, devotion and trust.

The pansy is also the birth month flower of February.

With all their detail, these pansies are sure to make an impact in any space!

Artist Bio

I am a self-taught artist living on the beautiful South Coast of NSW. I have always been fascinated by the arts and how creativity brings so much joy and calm to my world. I have experimented with many different art mediums which I will continue to explore and incorporate into my artworks. My love for bright, bold colours has found me exploring different colour combinations and has deeply influenced my work.

Growing up, I was surrounded with the paintings that my mum created. But what really started me on my own path was I remember asking her to paint me a picture as a teen but instead she asked me – why don’t you try to paint it? Having her belief in me and her continued support has given me the confidence to pursue my art journey beyond just a hobby.

My work is deeply influenced by my surroundings and my love for travel. My first series of artwork “Tropical Rain” is inspired by the tropical beaches that I have travelled to and the palm trees that line those coastlines.

I am so looking forward to continuing the path that I am on with my painting and seeing where it leads next...
