Based in Victoria, Australia, Annabelle Mannings is an emerging artist with experience in watercolor, oils and mixed media illustration. Annabelle's art journey began at a young age with her childish scribbles soon becoming something more. Her style has continued to bloom with her as she has grown and is always evolving with each new work she completes. Annabelle’s works are both representational and abstract and she is inspired by the incidental beauty of nature and emotions it evokes. She strives to illustrate the unique life and soul of her subjects and both the light and dark facets of both by creating a world where nature is untouched and living beings wear their hearts on their sleeves. She wishes to provide a momentary escape from the chaos of day to day life whilst provoking thought on how we interact with the world around us.
Having completed a Certificate IV in Visual Arts, Annabelle is predominantly self-taught. This has allowed her to develop her own individual techniques and skills which serve her in her artistic exploration. Annabelle's works are a part of a number of private collections and she has had two successful group exhibitions and looks forward to adding to her experience as she makes her journey to becoming a professional artist
