The soft but vibrant colours of the Swifty's feathers presented a challenge! This beautiful bird breeds in Tasmania, but migrates to the mainland during its non-breeding season, but extensive habitat loss has caused its numbers to dwindle dramatically. Capturing our unique wildlife on canvas is my small contribution to raising awareness.
