Artwork Description

Sanctuary is a gentle escape into softness, where delicate florals unfold in a quiet, layered rhythm. Petals drift and intertwine in a palette of creamy whites, warm blush tones, earthy browns, and fresh greens, creating a sense of calm, balance and natural harmony.

There’s a stillness within this piece. The flowing brushstrokes and organic movement invite you to slow down, to breathe and to find comfort in the beauty of simplicity. Each bloom feels as though it’s softly emerging and receding at the same time - like a fleeting moment held just long enough to be felt.

This painting was created as a place to rest your eyes and your mind. A visual sanctuary that brings warmth without overwhelming, making it perfect for spaces where you want to feel grounded and at ease. Whether that’s a bedroom, living room or a quiet corner of your home.

Sanctuary is more than a floral composition - it’s a feeling of peace, captured in motion. A reminder to pause, soften, and return to what feels calm and true.

Amber draws inspiration from the Australian landscape and its botanical forms. Amber translates elements of the natural world into abstract compositions that focus more on feeling over their representation.

Through layered colour, organic movement and considered placement, Amber aims to create paintings that bring a sense of calm, balance and natural energy into a space. Nature acts as a starting point — a reference for growth, rhythm and softness — while abstraction allows the work to remain open, personal and enduring.

Each piece is created intuitively, with attention to colour formations and harmony. Amber is drawn to how colour can influence and impact a room and how art can anchor an interior, shaping not only how a space looks, but how it feels.

Amber’s work is intended to be lived with — collected for its emotional resonance, longevity and ability to connect the beauty of the natural world with contemporary interiors.
