Ambra Sandrini is an Italian artist migrated to Australia in 2012.
Coming from a family of artists (father painter, grandfather painter and sculptor, grandmother painter), she obtained a bachelor in Set design from the Art Academy of Venice.
In Italy she worked in multiple occasions in collaboration with the Fenice theater and the Venice Biennial of Music and the Educational Biennial designing and realizing scenes related to operas.
Her paintings bring theatrical interpretations of situations and emotions. The colors, distortions and symbolism of the scenes bring the observer in a realm of dream.
