This abstract still life painting has a minimal feel, but with subtle textures and patterns showing through the design to add depth and interest. There is a nice textural feel to the thick brush strokes and line work. and the black and white colour scheme will work well in most any interior styled space.

Hello. A little about me... have been a painter since I was 13 years old, starting with realism and moving to abstraction as I grew older. I went to University for graphic and textile design however, and after many years in the commercial design world, I am endeavoring to focus on painting once more. I am process oriented and love experimenting with layers of paint, hiding and revealing colours and textures as the moment demands. My work is fluid and organic, with colour adding both depth and lightness.
