Spring Leaves

This painting was inspired by a rainy morning walk in spring. You can almost smell the gum leaves in the spring rain. The curling leave tips and my signature patterns give a classical theme a modern twist. The leaves are a mix of soft pinks and greens in different shades. The background is a mix of soft greys and ochres.
This painting comes with painted sides on stretched canvas. It is signed on the front and ready to hang with a wire across the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
How would I describe my art?
I’m painting abstracts, landscapes, still-life, flora and fauna in bright and pastel colours. My art has an emphasis on decorative patterns and I add interest is added through detailed line work, dots, dashes and hatches
How do I decide what to paint?
Usually, I see an unusual combination of colours or a pattern that I particularly like. At other times my garden or my rural surroundings are the inspiration behind my works.
What does my work mean?
I like to create uplifting and happy art full of vitality to lift the spirit and make everyone feel comfortable. My passion for bright colour schemes expresses vigour and positive energy. I also create paintings that use soft colours to convey delight and bliss.

The bright colours, patterns and hatches reflect the emotional and positive energy of her work. amroo is painting landscapes, still-life, flora and fauna. Her work is influenced by her beautiful rural surroundings, connection to the land and positive energy. amroo’s background in landscape architecture is evident in her subject selection and carefully constructed patterns and hatches. The subjects of her paintings evolve from the colours, patterns and line work on the canvas. She uses botanical references as her secret place to nurture her dreams is often in her garden. amroo is an emerging artist and has exhibited in shows and exhibitions throughout Brisbane. She held her inaugural solo exhibition in the Inspired Gallery in 2022.

I like to create uplifting and happy art full of vitality to lift the spirit and make everyone feel comfortable. Interest is added through detailed line work, dots, dashes, hatches and patterns. These details keep the viewer engaged and lead on a journey of discovery in my paintings. For this reason, crisp, hard-edge lines, purposefully placed shapes and carefully constructed colour palettes are hallmarks of my work.
I use my passion for bright colour schemes to express vigour and positive energy. I also create paintings that use soft colours to convey delight and bliss. I find painting is an almost meditative process where I can slow down, relax and reconnect with nature.
