'Saffron' is reminiscent of an elderly lady we all know. I aimed to portray the lines on her face as a testament to a life long lived, adorned with both hardships and joys. Through many layers of colourful brushstrokes upon her sun-kissed face, I see her warmth, knowledge and history. Look into her eyes; What what story do they tell you?
India holds a special place in my heart—a land where the contrasts of vibrant colors against earth-worn landscapes, the coexistence of ancient and modern civilizations, and the interplay of poverty and wealth create a complex narrative.
