I began my artistic journey in early 2020, turning to painting as a creative and therapeutic outlet. As a self-taught artist with no formal training, my practise is driven by curiosity, experimentation and a deep appreciation for the process of creating art.
I work across a range of mediums, including acrylics, oils, inks, pastels, mixed media, and airbrushing techniques. Rather than adhering to a fixed style, I embrace an open and evolving approach - allowing each piece to take its own direction. This freedom to explore has become a core part of my identity as an artist.
Much of my inspiration comes from my love of nature and the vivid raw beauty of the experiences I've had whilst living in the Northern Territory. The colours, textures and rhythms of the natural world often find their way into my work, as do the emotions and stories drawn from my personal life experiences.
My work is shaped by intuitive decisions, mistakes, spontaneous techniques and a willingness to take creative risks. Whether layering techniques, blending colours or combining mediums in unexpected ways - I strive to create pieces that reflect my personal creative process.
