Artwork Description

Healing Part 2 is an emotive abstract piece created with acrylic, spray paint, and oil pastel on recycled cardboard. A rich palette of pinks, reds, and yellows is layered with soft strokes, geometric forms, and spontaneous marks, conveying a sense of movement, intuition, and gentle vulnerability. The repurposed cardboard base—once discarded art waste—now serves as both canvas and concept, embodying themes of renewal, sustainability, and transformation. Each layer speaks to the process of healing: raw, imperfect, and beautifully evolving. This piece is part of an ongoing commitment to mindful, eco-conscious art making.

Artist Bio

I am an artist, surface & textile designer based in Melbourne, Australia. I specialise in abstract artwork with my preferred medium being acrylic on cotton canvas. Being creative is something that has always played a part in my life but it's not until I started studying textile & screen print design that I rediscovered my love of drawing, painting & digital art. Art is therapy for me and it makes me happy, my artwork is bright and colourful and I hope it brings joy to others. Colour is a big inspiration in my work and my bright abstract pieces are inspired by the things around me. I think colour brings so much joy to our lives so I am naturally drawn to all things colourful. I was born in Melbourne, but I love traveling and have been inspired by textiles and art all around the world. When I'm not painting I working as a childrenswear designer.
