Tidal Wave

This artwork is an abstract painting with a dynamic blend of colours and bold brushstrokes. The composition primarily features shades of pink, ranging from soft pastels to intense neon hues, complemented by patches of turquoise blue, deep black, and hints of green.

The fluidity of the brushwork gives the impression of movement, as if colours are flowing or merging into one another. The contrast between light and dark elements, along with the expressive, textured strokes, suggests an emotional and energetic quality.

I am an artist, surface & textile designer based in Melbourne, Australia. I specialise in abstract artwork with my preferred medium being acrylic on cotton canvas. Being creative is something that has always played a part in my life but it's not until I started studying textile & screen print design that I rediscovered my love of drawing, painting & digital art. Art is therapy for me and it makes me happy, my artwork is bright and colourful and I hope it brings joy to others. Colour is a big inspiration in my work and my bright abstract pieces are inspired by the things around me. I think colour brings so much joy to our lives so I am naturally drawn to all things colourful. I was born in Melbourne, but I love traveling and have been inspired by textiles and art all around the world. When I'm not painting I working as a childrenswear designer.
