Caths Quinces

These quinces were given to me by my wonderful mother-in-law Cath, who has the most fabulous garden. Every time I see her I receive some small treasure from it and every time it feels too beautiful to eat.

I painted these loosely from photographs I took of the quinces in a shadow box for a dramatic black backdrop to highlight their wonderful texture. Initialed on the front and signed on a certificate on the back.
