Inspired by the artist's love of Australian flora and the rich colours of the bush. Living in the coastal town of Point Lonsdale, Amy is constantly in awe of the native flowers and plants she is surrounded by and often includes these in her works. The colour palette creates a sense of calmness and tranquility. Although the layout is quite dense, the choice of colour and composition leaves the viewer feeling grounded.
