Artwork Description

"Eclipse Bloom" is a statement resin artwork that captures the drama of light meeting colour. Deep indigo and violet hues spill into radiant magenta, lime, and amber, creating a sense of movement that feels both powerful and hypnotic.

Each layer of pigment and resin has been poured and guided by hand, giving a glass-like finish that amplifies the vibrancy of every tone. The result is a piece that shimmers and shifts as light changes, revealing hidden details and glowing transitions within the fluid forms.

This artwork is part of a contemporary colour series exploring the balance between chaos and calm — a vivid burst of emotion frozen in resin.

Medium: Pigmented epoxy resin on stretched canvas frame

Finish: High-gloss resin surface

Frame: Sleek black floating frame (ready to hang)

Size: 48.5cm (h) 48.5cm (w) 5.5cm (d)

Each artwork is one of a kind, hand-crafted with care, and back of frame will be signed.

Perfect as a bold focal point in a living room, office, or creative space, Eclipse Bloom radiates intensity and modern elegance.

Artist Bio

I am a Melbourne based artist and love to explore colour and texture by pouring various mediums directly onto the canvas, layer by layer, building them up with stenciled motifs and patterns. With an educational background in graphic design and many flirtations with other art forms such as ceramics, jewellery and textiles, I have finally found my niche in abstract painting. I am constantly inspired by playing with different mediums trying to achieve a variety of effects, and find daily inspiration from textiles, fashion, patterns found in the everyday and my children's artworks.

My desire is to create artworks that lift people’s spirits through the use of colour and texture. I want to create pieces that not only are rich and vibrant to look at, but which also make you want to reach out and touch. I want the intensity and luminosity of the colours and the tactile elements of the paintings to wash over you. Perhaps more than anything, I want them to evoke a sense of home and comfort wherever you choose to hang them.”
