I wished to paint those birds for some time and one day they just landed on my balcony, very curious about my cats :) I couldn't resist to grab my phone and take a couple of photos!
This one was a challenge for me, as the light was behind the birds which created dark shadows on the front of the bodies. I painted with oils on canvas and mounted on a floating frame, ready to hang.
I tried to be the most accurate as possible to the original with my photos , but please be aware that different monitors settings may change slightly the tones.
