“5am Club” is a meditation on the quiet strength of early mornings. Through the fluidity of watercolours and the softness of pastels, I sought to capture the stillness of a coastal landscape at dawn—a moment when the world feels untouched, and the horizon holds infinite possibility. The interplay of warm and cool tones reflects both the calm and the energy of beginnings, inviting viewers to pause and embrace the clarity that comes with rising early. This work is not only about the beauty of nature but also about the discipline and peace found in those first hours of the day.

Anastasia is a contemporary watercolour artist from Perth, WA. Her work draws inspiration from the Australian landscape and coastal environments, often reflecting themes of connection between people and nature, inviting symbolic and introspective interpretation, exploring emotional depth and personal connection through natural forms.
Although Anastasia developed her artistic practice independently, her background in linguistics and graphic design informs her visual storytelling and compositional approach. She works across figurative, landscape and abstraction, and often experiments with dry pigments and fluid techniques and other media.
Anastasia is a member of the Watercolour Society of Western Australia since 2020. Her work has been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and art awards.
She welcomes commissions and enjoys creating bespoke pieces that explore natural forms, and atmospheric landscapes.
