This painting is inspired by the idea of the beauty of a garden in full bloom and the joy it can bring. It is part of a series of 3 paintings, titled Allegra after the latin word for joyful.

My work is inspired by the seasons and i painted this at the end of spring, coming into the full bloom of summer. It represents the joy after a long winter, and the feeling of freedom of summer days.
