The artwork is inspired by the deep veins of rock that dive into the earth. It is evocative of layers of rock, of anticlines, and all the layers beneath, some breaking through to the surface . The rich red and ochre of the earth is in contrast the the vast open sky.
Painting is mounted but requires framing.
