Artwork Description

When you drive down the mountains around Mount Hotham, from certain views the remaining ghostly sentinels of burnt trees loom over the recovering landscape. They provide a reminder of the fires, as well as habitat. This print is a depiction of those trees in the mountains.

I work mainly in Acrylic on Canvas or board, but also in Mixed Media on Paper, and more recently monoprints . My subject matter varies, however is generally inspired by the natural world around me.
