Artwork Description

This cormorant posed for me when we were on our boat , looking for subjects to paint, on a lovely spring day on the Swan River. Completed with a palette knife. It is framed in similar fashion to a Sheok grove (uploaded with frame image. As framed it is 71cm wide , 62 cm high and 5 cm deep. There is some handling wear on the rear sides and corners of the frame. (not visible from the front)

Artist Bio

I was born in 1962 in Perth, Western Australia and I now reside in Tasmania
Encouraged by my parents, especially my father to express myself in drawing and painting as a child, my first sales were to the artist Robert Juniper at the age of eight for Miss Australia Quest fundraising (Cerebral Palsy Association)
I completed Art at Tertiary Entrance Admissions level in 1979.
However, it was during a walking holiday in England in 1985, that I was inspired to paint seriously and I have been self-educated since then.
