Reflections on the Swan

On a very still day in August 2010. We took a boat ride on the Swan River, this panting is from around the suburb of Bassendean and the reflections were fabulous . The painting is completed with a pallette knife. The painting is currently framed, it is 112.5cm wide by 87cm high by 4.5 cm in depth . The rear of the corners of the frame are very slightly worn (not visible from the front)

I was born in 1962 in Perth, Western Australia and I now reside in Tasmania
Encouraged by my parents, especially my father to express myself in drawing and painting as a child, my first sales were to the artist Robert Juniper at the age of eight for Miss Australia Quest fundraising (Cerebral Palsy Association)
I completed Art at Tertiary Entrance Admissions level in 1979.
However, it was during a walking holiday in England in 1985, that I was inspired to paint seriously and I have been self-educated since then.
I first exhibited in 1986 , at the West Australian Newspapers Exhibition during the Festival of Perth.
