AnDee Lumsden is a Queensland sculptor and collagist whose work explores transformation, tactility, sensory experience, and the hidden potential of reclaimed materials. Working primarily with corrugated cardboard and salvaged paper, the artist creates sculptural forms, abstract surfaces, assemblage-based works, and material studies that blur the line between object, texture, and imagination.
.
Through over a decade of experimentation and material investigation, the artist has developed an ongoing practice centred around “discovering and revealing the jewel within the material.” Her work explores the unexpected possibilities hidden within overlooked materials, transforming them into textured, tactile works that invite curiosity, closeness, and re-evaluation.
