The artist lives immersed in nature; surrounded by an immense garden, near a stream, overlooking a mountain range, regularly visited by wildlife. Her works utilises the natural objects found in the place she inhabits.
The impressions of objects remain on the places they have touched. These work contain the energies of plants (herbs and flowers), animals (bones and feathers), stones (crystals, mountain rocks, river pebbles) and people (the artist herself). Some are sprayed with essential oils or blessed with coffee or wine.
The patterned backgrounds are produced in a meditate, almost trance-like state, within an atmosphere imbued with incense and symphonies or down-tempo low-fi techno.
All works are informed by a personal (and universal) mythology. Drawing together worldly elements to provide an archetypal allegory.
