Artwork Description

The Watcher is a captivating charcoal and pencil portrait that draws the viewer into an intimate moment of quiet reflection. The subject’s expressive eyes, anchor the composition and convey a sense of vulnerability and strength.
The expression hovers between strength and vulnerability, leaving interpretation open to the viewer. The subject could be anyone, anywhere—an individual embodying both mystery and universality. This ambiguit invites a deeper emotional connection and allows the portrait to speak uniquely to each observer.
