After the rain

'After the rain' loosely depicts a bush and river scene in the south west of Western Australia painted in a semi- traditional impressionist style using artist quality oil paints. Stylistically, the painting lands around modern impressionism, with oil paints being applied with brush and pallet knife using traditional teqniques. It can be hung anywhere amongst modern or traditional paintings quite happily and would suit a bedroom, study or library room. The painting extends around the edges and sealed with Damar varnish, so it is ready to hang as is. A frame can be added at checkout. This is the second of my artworks to come from my new home based studio in Perth, Western Australia and I am pleased to present this beautiful oil painting exclusively on Bluethumb Art.
