Blue Mist

'Blue Mist' is a striking abstract artwork which captures the elements of a traditionally painted landscape in primary colours and form. Thematically, the semi-literal landscape gives hints of the Australian outback in the colour range used. The artwork consists of multiple layers of transparent coloured oil glazes on a lightly sculpted sealed canvas. It is similar in style and technique to my 'Lineas' series of paintings, (minus the ink streaks), with artist quality oils being used in place of acrylics. This visually absorbing and reflective artwork is fully painted around the edges, and it can be happily hung without an external frame, making it an affordable and eminently attainable investment. It is medium sized so can suit any room in your home and was painted at my Perth based art studio. Blue Mist is proudly presented for sale exclusively on bluethumb art.
