Ocean Sunset Storm

My artwork, 'Ocean Sunset Storm ' is probably best described as 'semi-literal abstract impressionism'. Artist quality paints have been layered up in translucent colour coats on top of a lightly sculpted wooden substrate. Influences are many and varied but the outcome is highly original. A picture frame is required to give the painting a more formal look but could be strung without a frame. The painting will pop in a modern setting with targeted lighting where an intimate mood is preferred. Its mid-size makes it ideal for hallways, dining rooms or nooks and may be orientated to suit. Painted at my Perth based home art studio and proudly presented exclusively to bluethumb art.
