Artwork Description

'Rusty the Relic' describes the scene of an old 1932 Ford flatbed truck which has long since bitten the dust. It's slowly but surely succumbing to a rusty fate in the hot and dusty Kalgoorlie bush along with a couple of old cyanide drums and a bullet hole ridden 'keep out!' sign. I created this scene using Artist quality soft pastel applied to a heavy watercolor paper (card) substrate and presented in a semi-realistic/impressionist romanticized style and I'm very pleased with the outcome. * Note: The artwork is professionally custom framed which is included in the price.
