Sunset Road

The afternoon summer sun is low, casting long shadows from the roadside gum trees and fence posts. The breeze is dry and warm as the day heralds its near end.' 'Suset Road' is an impressionist oil painting based loosely on my travels around South Western Australia. Traditional painting methods have been applied with brush and palette knife using artist quality oil paints on a cotton canvas, with the paint extending around the edges. The artwork is framed and finished with AS Damar Vanish for long life and paint protection. It is ready to hang and will suit most decors, being ideal for bedroom, dining room or study placement. Painted at my home-based studio in Perth, the painting is new and proudly presented exclusive to Bluethumb Art.
