Artist Bio

I am an Australian artist, illustrator and graphic designer based in Adelaide. I work primarily in the linocut medium, a medium I love for its ability to create many varied and expressive marks. The graphic nature of the linocut makes it the perfect medium for capturing Australian flowers and seedpods, with their strong shapes and many fascinating and alien forms. I love to keep a lot of spontaneity in my work so that the final piece captures the energy and hand of the artist at work, resulting in dynamic and flowing images.I have studied art at the South Australian School of Art and participated in many art awards including the SA Museum's Waterhouse Art Prize, the Moreton Bay Region Art Awards and the Adelaide Parklands Art Prize.
