Andrew is a professional Engineer who started his oil painting quest in 2006 following a successful career in pottery decoration. Andrew was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England and now lives and works in Melbourne, Australia.
Andrew is using his heritage and creative talents to create stunning images by the use of tones, contrasts, light and dark and juxtaposition of elements within the paintings to almost position the viewer within the painting.
Andrew's Great Uncle was JT Jones, the Head Designer and Modeler of pottery and bird figurines at Crown Staffordshire pottery now part of the Wedgwood group. The pottery is widely available on ebay.
