To me art is a friend, a refuge, an escape and therapy. It takes me away from this world, removes me from time. Allows me to be present and focused.
My art is colourful, perhaps strange, otherworldly, but with an organic feel.
I like to remove myself from the creating, become a follower rather than a leader - set off without a clear destination, following the process, following the signs along the way. Getting out of my own way and enjoy the serendipity. It's always an adventure. Always immersing. Often rewarding in the end product in addition to the process.
