Still Life No.216 has a fresh blue, orange and aqua palette that pops against a crisp white background! Geometric and balanced with a fresh, modern vibe.
This painting is from the 'Pleasant Avenue" collection. The collection is a nostalgic throwback to my childhood on Pleasant Ave in the early nineties. Long summer days were spent riding bikes, climbing trees and exploring the gardens of suburban Sydney. Dissected frangipanis and bottlebrush. Potions and mud pies. Hypercolour t-shirts. Overalls splashed with clashing colours, prints lingered from the previous decade.
This work has been painted using artists quality acrylic paints and sealed using a satin varnish for a very slight sheen. It has been carefully framed using Tasmanian Oak with a wire attached so it's ready to unpack and hang!
