Still Life No.72 - Santiago Collection

Still Life No.72 is a smaller piece from the "Santiago Collection", inspired by the colours and architecture of the diverse city. Vibrant colours combined with geometric shapes create a playful yet poised work. It has been finished using a satin varnish which has a very slight sheen.

This painting is framed in a Tasmanian Oak float frame (see last image for example) which has been sealed using an environmentally friendly, plant based oil. It is ready to unpack and hang!

Andria Beighton is a Melbourne based artist whose background in floristry is evident in her subject selection. A lifelong fascination with colours and a requirement for balance are also driving forces in her work.

Inspired by bold vintage textiles, the graphic nature of mid century poster art and the stark forms of brutalist architecture, Andria creates bold yet harmonious work.
