Still life with Carnations (AAF Melb)

Born in Sydney and raised in Athens, most of my early works are pencil and ink sketches developed while living in Greece, raising a family and travelling in Europe and Asia.
Influenced by the modern Impressionists, I work with oils and prefer to paint landscapes 'Alla Prima' and Still Life in the studio.
While painting Alla Prima I try to capture the light, colour and vibe of a seascape or landscape, so I can share the joy of it with the viewer. What fascinates me with Still Life is discovering a whole world in the subtle nuances of flowers with their different patterns and colours.
