Andy Szöllősi is a wilderness photographer, adventurer and picture framer based in Nipaluna / Hobart, Lutruwita / Tasmania. He regularly undertakes remote and difficult journeys through nature to bring back stories and photographs from places that few people get to see. Andy's primary camera is a Hasselblad 500 c/m, a medium format film camera manufactured in Sweden in 1980. He believes that film can capture an essence of spirit and it is this essence of the landscapes he hopes to bring back from his trips to share with people. Andy's images involve minimal editing and often feature multiple exposures to overlap layers of feeling and meaning. Andy is an avid wilderness conservationist and an advocate for the preservation of all wild places.
