View from Tweed Regional Gallery

This work was inspired by a photograph I took behind the Tweed Valley Regional Gallery. This mixed media reinterprets the iconic Tweed Valley landscape. Using layered textures and vibrant colour, I aimed to capture the serenity of the river and the distant mountain ranges. This piece blends realism, with expressive mark-making to create a contemporary take of a classic Australian vista. It is not framed but will be carefully packed for an interested buyer.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am an Australian artist working primarily in acrylics and water colours. I have completed many art courses both in Australia and overseas which have included the Canberra School of Art and the Institute of Fine Art, Hanoi, Vietnam. My work explores traditional landscapes and floral subjects often inspired by the beauty of nature and I have recently began experimenting with abstract forms to capture mood and emotion in new ways.
