This artwork was generated from a vision I had when I was in labour with my first son where I become one with the universe and saw myself as a joyous little blob bouncing around banging into one another and moving towards a light source.I was so happy and carefree and all I felt was joy ,love and togetherness.Every little blob pulsed with its own vibrant colour and we were all connected .That's why I called this piece Togetherness.I believe it could bring joy ,union and harmony to a space
Angela Goodhue is an artist who likes to use pastels, pen and ink and recently ,acrylic paints for her art She works in the healthcare industry and sees art as an escape from the realities of life so tends to prefer abstract and impressionistic art forms. She has had little formal training but has been drawing since she began talking .At highschool she did technical drawing and had planned a life as a draftswoman but this wasn't her passion. Skills gained were perspective in her drawings .She attended a short course in pen and ink sketching where she learnt dot and the use of texture through small marks and patterns To create interest in her drawings ,this can be seen in her style where she also likes to use dots and marks to indicate kmovement in her drawings and paintings.Despite no real formal training she has developed her own style and lists Van Gogh and Rosina Wachtmeister amongst some of her influencers.
