Artwork Description

Mineral Divide
Original artwork by Angela Roskell.
An extra-large, one-of-a-kind abstract artwork on stretched canvas, ready to hang.
~
Created through layered fluid acrylic techniques, Mineral Divide reveals organic lacework, flowing formations and intricate cellular detail that cannot be recreated. Hand-applied linework in deep mineral green and metallic gold has been added over selected areas, following the natural movement of the piece and giving the surface a more defined, terrain-like quality.
~
Rich metallic gold moves through sandy creams, soft whites and smoky greys, interwoven with muted mineral greens, olive, blue-grey and earthy stone tones. Subtle highlights shift with changing light, adding depth and a quiet evolving presence throughout the day.
Signed on both the side and the back of the canvas, the edges are painted to complement the piece, so framing is optional.
~
