This work continues an exploration of the human form through reduction and gesture. The figure is built through sweeping lines and repeated marks, allowing movement to take precedence over precise definition.
Influenced by observational figure study, the piece shifts away from realism, focusing instead on rhythm, weight, and the physical act of drawing. Areas of density and erasure remain visible, giving the work a raw, unresolved quality.
The use of a limited palette reinforces this restraint, keeping attention on line, form, and the energy carried through the body rather than surface detail.
This artwork is created on 50 x 70 cm paper. The drawn image is intentionally set within a 1 cm margin from the edge, allowing for framing flexibility.
The artwork is an original piece, and all copyright remains with the artist.
