Soft and creamy gum blossoms are quite common in our coastal area. Their leaves are somewhat smaller and more regimented like little soldiers attached to their twiggy branch. Gum blossoms or Eucalyptus blooms are pretty little flowers that capture the Australian spirit. Everywhere I go I see different gumtrees all producing their own unique leaves and blooms. I'm captivated by them and paint them aiming to express their softness, individuality, and that special feeling of admiration that I feel when I observe them.
Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
