About

A country artist from Leeton, NSW.
I love colour and texture and I challenge myself to find new ways to include this in my work.
My local landscape and travels around the world are a great source of inspiration for me.
Over the years I have attended many workshops and short courses, enjoying the company of like-minded people and learning many tricks and techniques which has made my work rather eclectic.
My biggest dilemma as an artist is which style to pursue. I paint everything from portraits to abstract and use a variety of mediums.
While I use a variety of materials and processes in each work, the tools I most enjoy and use are the palette knife and my hands. Using my hands gives me a real freedom which comes through in my work.
The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work.
As with many artists my art will keep evolving, and as this is the case I will continue to challenge myself to materialise the visions I carry with me every day.
